Starting off with a couple of videos for the Mill. 5th generation of family still running the Mill (two brothers and sister). They are also building a power plant with renewable products and excess is sold back to the local power grid. Robbins Lumber is looking forward to the 6th! Cabin Masters video and tour shows the how of lumber production, appearance grade mill. They act as their own distributor in Maine. The mill sustainably mills 27K acres of land containing white pine wood. The family wholesales to Amish in Pennsylvania, to Tennessee and other states as well as Nova Scotia. There is an 80 year growth cycle for these trees so the family is managing a harvestable timber. They employ 125 staff. Saw dust waste is also reused as a fuel turning it into a revenue stream. Staying efficient is vital to the industry.
