Buckets on the Table: Mid Coast Recovery Coalition (drop off donations to Kim at the bank in Camden –next to Hannaford- or mail to PO Box 1033, Camden 04843 – or website donation site using the donate button). $1143.53 went to New Hope for Women!

Speaker of the Day: Mid Coast Recovery Coalition – Robyn Stanicki
Robin is President of the Board as of January, a policy analyst and researcher. Became involved so she could be a part of the early stages of recovery. They recognized the fact that there were not a lot of resources for individuals in recovery. Based first on housing needs. Acquired 2 houses that include both men and women (Rockland and Camden). Always a waiting list. They can stay from 1-7 months while they find a stable setting. The mission and vision of the coalition is to create programming around housing, what are the next steps. Workforce development is important, over the next 5 years they will be focusing on this step. A capital campaign begins this spring, Covid has slowed down a lot of progress. Looking for community support with this program.

Looking for committee leads for next year, looking for interested folks who want to participate. Some Big rolls to replace. Treasurer, Membership, Public Relations, Secretary…Reach out to Mark, Ken or Lisa!
